This task investigates infectious diseases in relation to environment, biodiversity and socio-demographics at a regional scale
The impacts of global changes on the relationships between infectious diseases (diversity and outbreaks) and biodiversity need to be carefully investigated at a regional scale (Asia-Pacific) taking into account socio-demographics.
The objectives of Task 1 are
1: to collect data on socio-economics, geography, environment, land-use, and biodiversity in SEA countries and to implement them into a database
2: to test several hypotheses in order to determine the main global drivers that affect biodiversity, endemics and outbreaks.
